Blair would become the home of the United Danish Evangelical Lutheran Church - one of the two Danish Lutheran Synods - and its school Dana College. This box contains a copy of a news scrapbook from the 1940s, and newspaper articles and issues dealing with Blair's history. This box contains a copy of a scrapbook of newspaper articles pertaining to Washington County in Nebraska (1940s?). The majority of the articles are obituaries, but there are also articles about engagements, weddings, and other events. The scrapbook was put together by Maurine (Linden) Radler. She was married to Ken Radler. This copy of the scrapbook was donated to the DAAL by their daughter, Jeeanette Wiese. There is an article from the Omaha World Herald entitled "Blair, a 'Living' Town: Business Comes Second in Omaha 'Suburb'" from February 14,1954.
