This box contains the history of UELC churches in the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Manitoba. Bethany Lutheran Church in Dickson was a merger of 2 congregations, Pella and Siloam, in 1907. The first wave of settlers in Dickson were from Pella Lutheran Church in Omaha. They formed the Pella congregation in Dickson before they left Omaha. The early history of Dickson is in the Bethany folder as well as the history of the church because they are intertwined. The Standard, Alberta folder contains documents in Danish from the Elk Horn Real Estate Co. concerning lands in Canada (1910). 20110712.
